
Rayne’s Annual Frog Festival Returns This Weekend with a Parade, Carnival, and Two Nights of Live Music
RAYNE, La. - Another week, another great South Louisiana festival. The Rayne Frog Festival is taking place in the Frog Capital of Rayne, Louisiana, on May 7-9, 2026. This year's festival will be the 54th year of celebrating those hopping, tasty little swamp critters
As always, there is a full schedule of music, delicious food and drinks, arts and crafts show, carnival rides, kick-off parade, frog derby, frog races, frog leg sauce piquant eating contest, and a whole lot more.

Frog Festival Parade: Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m.
If you want to get the festivities kicked off a little early, on Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m., the Frog Festival Parade will roll through town. The parade will travel the normal route down the Boulevard to the Frog Festival grounds.
