Louisiana Man Arrested for Allegedly Threatening to Blow Up Ulta Store
A "colorful" Louisiana man has made headlines after he was arrested at an Ulta Beauty store for allegedly threatening to blow it up.
However, this story has gone viral for a much different reason.
Louisiana Man Arrested For Threatening To Blow Up Ulta Store
42-year-old Timothy Lincoln of Buras, Louisiana was arrested in Opelika, Alabama on October 19, 2024 for allegedly threatening to blow up an Ulta Beauty store.
According to WRBL.com, an Ulta employee over heard Lincoln making a phone call outside the business, reportedly saying, “I’m going to blow this (expletive) up!”
After hearing this, all Ulta employees and customers were quickly evacuated from the store.

"Opelika police were called to the scene, and Lincoln was taken into custody. His mugshot, obtained by WRBL, shows writings and markings in various colors all across Lincoln’s face. Officials have not commented on the markings."
Lincoln was arrested and charged with allegations of making a terrorist threat, which is a serious offense if the charges stick.
Under Alabama law, making a terrorist threat is a Class C felony The offense carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted.
Lincoln has been banned from all Ulta Beauty stores for life.
In 2018 a Louisiana man was arrested at a Popeyes in New Orleans and charged with two counts of communicating false information about an arson after allegedly saying "Y’all about to close right now because I’m going to get a bomb and blow this place up.”
Arthur Posey, 30, said it was all a misunderstanding and that he just needed to use the bathroom really bad.
It remains to be see if Timothy Lincoln will claim the bathroom defense.
