(New Orleans, Louisiana) - Many who live in uptown New Orleans had to deal with more than figid temepratured over the weekend after a water main broke in that part of the city.

For years, we've heard how bad the infrastructure is in New Orleans, and video from uptown over the weekend only proves it needs improvement.

Several videos posted on social media over the weekend showed flooded roads in New Orleans, and if you had a canoe, you could have gotten from point A to point B with ease. Yes, the current flowing through the streets was that strong.

The water main that broke not only flooded vehicles in uptown New Orleans but also discharged water into the streets, creating a large sinkhole on Panola Street. The hole in the street was so deep that a car was partially submerged.

As a result of the boil advisory, many residents of uptown New Orleans were advised to boil their water this weekend. And while that could be inconvenient for you, others are now having to address flooded vehicles as water flows through the streets.
