Alligator Spotted Near South Louisiana Neighborhood

(New Iberia, Louisiana) - An alligator is on the loose near New Iberia, and the person who spotted it wants you to be aware of it.

Britney Breaux sent us this video ot the alligator, and she reports that it was spotted on Daspit Road in New Iberia.

She shares this knowledge, aware that alligators are present everywhere in Louisiana. Still, she wants those on and around this road in Iberia Parish to be mindful of it so that the alligator doesn't attack their children and pets.

Remember, if you come across an alligator, it is not a good idea to approach or chase it. If you feel it poses a threat to you or your family, contact the Louisiana Wildlife & Fisheries and report its location.
